Kremsmüller has had a very good cooperation with MAS – Maschinen- und Anlagenbau Schulz GmbH in the field of I&C for many years. MAS is active in the field of plastics upcycling, an industry that has really boomed in the last few years.
Recently, the largest compounding plant ever supplied by our customer was realized. For this plant, Kremsmüller manufactured and assembled the largest control cabinet system ever required in cooperation with our customer.
Following this text, you can see a video that Kremsmüller was allowed to shoot at MAS. In it, you can see how the control cabinets supplied by Kremsmüller are set up, wired and commissioned in the customer’s production hall. After the internal test phase, all machine components are dismantled again and prepared for shipment.
Quality of the I&C work
According to Norbert Reitinger, head of automation technology at MAS, the main advantage of the cooperation with Kremsmüller is the fact that competent Kremsmüller employees always carry out the coordination of the switchgear with the in-house automation personnel. This is where experience and competence count.
MAS was also very satisfied with the quality of Kremsmüller’s work. According to Martin Schnabl, Managing Director of MAS, this quality is consistently very high. Kremsmüller is therefore appreciated by all specialist departments as a very reliable supplier.
Internationally in use
Recycling plants from MAS together with I&C technology from Kremsmüller are in great demand internationally. The plant shown in the video was exported to the USA, but Kremsmüller switchgears are also already in use in Germany, France, Holland and many other countries.
Kremsmüller’s services are individually adapted to each project – from the manufacture and delivery of the switchgear cabinets including cable harness to the installation and commissioning of the complete extrusion line at the end customer’s site.
