Kremsmueller employees donated their Christmas present

Last year, Kremsmüller took on a three-year sponsorship for an SOS Children’s Village family in the SOS Children’s Village Altmünster. The proceeds from the 2024 Christmas campaign totaling 10,700 euros will benefit this family again this year.

The employees of the industrial plant manufacturer had the opportunity to forgo their company Christmas present sponsored by the management and works council and donate the amount instead. The proud total sum will be used to support the SOS Children’s Village family at Haus Eissee. SOS Children’s Village mother Agnes Pröll currently looks after five children – two girls and three boys aged between 4 and 13.

Donations handed over at the SOS Children’s Village in Altmünster Co-owner and Managing Director Gregor Kremsmüller and Works Council member Herbert Luksith made their way to the Traunsee community on behalf of the Kremsmüller employees to hand over the donation in person. “We would like to thank our employees for voluntarily giving up their company Christmas present. At the SOS Children’s Village Altmünster, we can see that the donation is going to the right place and will help the children in a sustainable and effective way,” explains Gregor Kremsmüller.
At the SOS Children’s Village Altmünster, SOS Children’s Village mother Agnes Pröll and SOS Children’s Village director Gerhard Pohl were delighted. “A huge thank you to Kremsmüller and its employees for their support! This donation is a valuable contribution to the growth of the five children who spend 365 days a year in our SOS Children’s Village. We respond to their personal needs in a consistent, caring and supportive manner. Fun and enjoyment are of course not neglected and the children pursue their hobbies in various clubs,” says SOS Children’s Village mother Agnes Pröll.

News from the sponsor family
The children told Mr. Kremsmüller and Mr. Luksith enthusiastically about their semester break: finally sleeping in late, strolling around, reading and playing were on the agenda. Two great excursions took them to a large trampoline park and the indoor swimming pool. One boy currently attends 4th grade elementary school. The alternatives were weighed up and discussed together. The Eissee house has also welcomed a new addition to the family in the form of a chicken, which provides the daily breakfast egg.
After two years of building work, renovations and the grand opening last year, things have quietened down at the SOS Children’s Village Altmünster. The village community is enjoying the new village. “We will celebrate this year’s 70th anniversary quietly, with a summer and games festival for young and old,” says SOS Children’s Village Director Gerhard Pohl.
